The VP of Engineering knew the value of looking to a User Experience agency with Development expertise to help them bring the new product to life. UpTop embedded a team of developers with the Belkin development team to add velocity and successfully meet the deadline for CES. Our team focused on the set-up and Bluetooth pairing functionality for the mobile app.
The project was particularly challenging because it involved integrating the Velop™ hardware’s firmware, Linksys’ Smart WiFi™ cloud, the mobile device (iOS or Android), and the application itself.
Helping meant more than delivering clean code. As the Velop™ mobile app was getting to the final stages of development, one of the Belkin development teams moved into UpTop’s office to go heads-down to finish development of the app and to test the product in our office.
